Cloud Services

Your Whole Cloud Services Journey, Mapped Out.

From network hardening to the custom software that connects it all.

DrVoIP's cloud services practice covers network hardening, firewalls, VPNs, and migration between AWS, VMware, and Hyper-V, plus the custom engineering layered on top: ongoing support for whatever phone system you're already running, purpose-built software and integrations, and the chat, SMS, and video channels your customers actually use. Whatever stage you're at, hardening a network, migrating off on-prem hardware, or wiring up a channel nobody else offers, here is everything we do around cloud services, and exactly where to go next.

Not Sure Where To Start?

Three kinds of visitor land on this page. Which one are you?

Six pages is still a lot to click through blind. Here is the fast path for each starting point.

Need Infrastructure Hardened or Migrated

Start with a network and security assessment, or plan a migration off on-prem hardware to AWS, VMware, or Hyper-V.

Still Running a Legacy Phone System

Keep what you already have running with ongoing support, or see the bigger picture of why the infrastructure underneath it matters first.

Need Something Custom Built

Purpose-built software and integrations, or the chat, SMS, and video channels your customers already expect.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Start with Why Cloud Services for the full picture of how network engineering, security, telephony, and custom software fit together. From there, the three paths above split by what's actually driving the project, hardening, a migration, or something custom built.

Hardening assesses and secures the infrastructure you already have, firewalls, VPNs, and configuration. Migration moves you somewhere else entirely, off on-prem hardware and onto AWS, VMware, or Hyper-V. Plenty of projects need both, hardened first, then migrated, or migrated first, then hardened on the new platform.

No. Network & Security Hardening and Cloud & Virtualization Migration are infrastructure level work and don't depend on any particular phone platform. Phone System Support & Maintenance specifically covers legacy systems like ShoreTel and Cisco. Custom Application Development and Chat, Messaging & Web Meetings are most often built around Amazon Connect, but the underlying engineering isn't exclusive to it.

Custom Application & Integration Development for features or integrations the platform doesn't offer natively, Chat, Messaging & Web Meetings for unified channels, and Network & Security Hardening regardless of which phone platform sits on top of it. Phone System Support & Maintenance applies if you're still running a legacy system alongside Amazon Connect during a phased migration.

It depends on scope. Assessments and custom builds are scoped on a short call and quoted as a fixed fee before work starts. Ongoing infrastructure management is available as a fully managed service, billed at AWS's own usage rate plus a flat 20% fee, the same structure that applies across every DrVoIP engagement.

Yes. DrVoIP started in telecom infrastructure in 2008 and moved the practice exclusively onto Amazon Connect and AWS in 2017. The same engineers who scope a contact center deployment are the ones hardening the network, running the migration, or building the custom software underneath it, one team, not a subcontracted infrastructure vendor.
